Host Nation Germany to Face Portugal in Opening Match
Germany will host the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship (Euro 2024) from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in six groups. The group stage will run from June 14 to 26, with the knockout stage beginning on June 29.
The host nation, Germany, will face Portugal in the opening match of the tournament on June 14 at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Other notable fixtures include England vs. Scotland on June 18 at Wembley Stadium in London and Spain vs. Italy on June 21 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The final of Euro 2024 will be played at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on July 14. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2025 FIFA Confederations Cup.
